Admission Requirements for Homeopathic Medical Science in Pakistan
Homeopathic Colleges in Pakistan aims to offer course that develops homeopaths, who possess knowledge & skills to enable them to practice with confidence & competence for the well being of their patients. Therefore, one can start a career in Pakistan as a homeopath fulfilling the following steps:
- You’ve to get admission in a four years diploma program i.e Diploma in Homeopathic Medical System (DHMS)
- Six months apprenticeship with a qualified homeopath, after successful completion of DHMS
- Furthermore, Registration with National Council for Homeopathy (NCH) as homeopathic medical Practitioner is must. Moreover, National Council for Homeopathy manages the examination, teaching & grant of diploma in homeopathy. In addition, NCH is responsible for enrollment of aspirants.
Selection Criteria:
DHMS program requires basic knowledge of science & all Matric with Science students are eligible for DHMS. However, Preference is given to students having intermediate or higher qualification with science subjects. The DHMS is of four years course & covers all facets of homeopathy as propounded by its founder Dr. Samuel Hahnemann.
F.Sc (Pre-Medical) students are exempted from Physics, Chemistry & biology subjects. However, other students of DHMS have to appear in three additional subjects before qualifying for DHMS certification. i.e. Physics, Chemistry & Biology
Time / Schedule: Though, Enrollment normally start in the month of July each year. However, the admission policy varies from college to college, whereas the general selection criteria are almost same as above. Furthermore, Both private & public homeopathic colleges in Pakistan offer these courses.
